7th National HR Summit was organized on October 31 – November 1, 2015. It was dedicated to Mr. O P Munjal (Ex-Founder and CMD Hero Group). The main theme of the summit was ‘HR Analytics: Predicting HR’s way out of the fog’. Key note speaker of the summit was Prof. T. Krishnan, Director & Professor of Strategy at Indian Institute of Management, Indore.


Learning:


The audience at the summit leaned how the Analytics is playing a crucial role in the HR domain as well now a days. Also it was a session which made the audience know that there are huge data the HR managers are tackling with throughout the day.

Highlights of Summit:

This was the first HR summit of IIITM Gwalior. In the Summit, Eighteen HR Professionals from various corporate houses and HR Experts from various B-Schools participated as a speaker.


Learning:

The HR summit revolved around HR practices of talent acquisition and management of this talent pool. As the theme pointed towards ‘trends in knowledge economy’, audience was provided with an insight of various organizations’ strategy to maintain the continuum of the best talent in market.  The HR summit also focused on how this knowledge economy is aligned with changing global scenario and how HR professionals are coping with this transition.

Two days Summit was organised on 8th and 9th October 2011. Theme of the summit was Beyond Conventionalism: HR the best way. The summit was dedicated to Steve Jobs, a design, tech and management guru who demised in 2011 only. Mr. Sanjay Bindal, Plant Head of SRF Limited was Chief Guest of the summit.
